Best Blogger Tips

I'm always interested in hearing about alternative treatments.  I have a history of severe urinary tract infections (UTIs) and four years ago when I was pregnant I was afraid I might miscarry if I developed a UTI.  I started taking a triple cranberry supplements and haven't had a UTI since.

Have you treated or prevented an illness with alternative treatments?  Was it successful?

  1. A friend of mine who is a long time alternative treatment activisist, always told me never to buy sprouts from grocery stores because it just wasn't safe. Grow your own she'd say. I guess I can see her reasoning behind that after reading the article from msnbc on the recall.

My husband used an alternative treatment on a medical condition he had and his symptoms all disapeared. He has never been affected by it since!

As for myself, I have moderate scoliosis and have done quite tried a few alternative treatments. Chiropractics, acupuncture, pressure point relaxation massage are all on the list and I feel that each one has helped me with the pain or prevention of pain :)

  2. I have such a hard time growing my own sprouts. Any tips you can share? I love them but don't like to buy them either.

Isn't it amazing what alternative treatments can do? We have nearly eliminated our seasonal allergies and colds by going dairy-free and using a neti pot.

I've always wanted to try acupuncture and pressure point relaxation. I'm glad they helped you with the pain.
